Tapback Privacy Policy

Tapback doesn’t send personal data to Hyper Inc Ltd. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking, and we don’t operate a server for the app. It uses Apple services only for Apple Health and optional tips, as described below.

What stays on your device

Some timer preferences, such as your rollover setting and haptic style, are stored locally on your Apple Watch. We have no way of seeing them, and deleting the app removes them. Tapback doesn’t keep a separate session history.

Apple Health

If you give permission, Tapback saves each completed session to Apple Health as mindful minutes — just the start and end time of the sit. Tapback requests permission to write this data but never reads it or sends it to us. Apple Health stores it and may sync it across your Apple devices through iCloud, depending on your settings. You can withdraw Tapback’s permission or delete its entries at any time from the Health app. Deleting Tapback doesn’t delete entries already saved to Apple Health.

Tip jar

Tips are optional in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store. Tapback uses StoreKit to display tip options, complete the purchase and receive confirmation that it succeeded. We don’t receive your name or payment details, although Apple provides us with aggregated sales and financial reports. Apple’s privacy policy covers the transaction.

Analytics and tracking

Tapback contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code. It doesn’t send personal data to us or to any analytics, advertising or tracking provider. The Apple services it uses are described above.

Changes

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we’ll update this page and note the new date below.

We use that information only to respond and provide support, keep it only for as long as reasonably necessary, and don’t sell it. You can ask us to delete the correspondence at any time. Questions?
